You and the partner are on almost identical salaries eh? So, about the poll thing. I might have a SS poll day soon*. If I don't end up banned, we will have about as many news polls as I have dollars of debt :) * I might not be kidding.

    Interesting one DT. 18x here.

Who said I was aiming to draw conclusions?
  4. Richard Feynman

    Your property investment debt.

I actually thought the overall debt levels would be a bit higher (even accounting for the fact that there are many beginners, as well as folks so far down the track that they have a load of assets and hardly any debt left).

I agree. Both polls I've considered making too. If not one beats me to it, they'll come. pinkboy, you make valid points but I think you've misunderstood the purpose of this poll. I'm not seeking a holistic insight into debt levels, loan value ratios, net worth, equity positions etc. I'm...

  9. Richard Feynman

    Your property investment debt.

Because the question I'm asking is how much investment property debt is being carried.
  10. Richard Feynman

    Your property investment debt.

Good question. I doubt you can, unless a moderator is kind enough to adjust your vote (if that's possible). If you're comfortable doing so, just let us know what you a) voted for and b) meant to vote for. We can work it out ourselves.
  11. Richard Feynman

    Your property investment debt.

The duplicate (second) "$8,000,001 - $9,000,000" was meant to be "Over $9,000,000". I stuffed up.
  12. Richard Feynman

    Your property investment debt.

To ensure consistency, I am asking: "How much total debt do YOU carry against your investment properties only?". If you've got a partner, include only your share of debt (based on ownership)*. Land holdings and developments also count. Shares, PPOR mortgages and the like do not...
