I'm seeing the opposite now. Three properties have just had lease renewals in the past 3 weeks and all had rises of between $10 - $25. All were previously rented at market or above. There was a definite lull for 6 months but my rentals haven't missed a beat. Maybe I'm different. Cheers...

Absolutely no point having all those things but then paying upwards of a $40k premium for a turnkey product. It's lazy and counter productive to go for these substandard house and land packages. The high rents in Gladstone currently mask the poor investments from the good ones. Rooster

In Gladstone? You sure about that? Not sure your anecdotal evidence is a good basis for that judgement. Punch those figures into a repayment calculator and see how you go. Then add in the exorbitant rates you pay up there. Rooster
