I've never even looked on domain.com.au to be honest ... haven't polled to see if anyone else I know does. I had my house on Gumtree. Got plenty of interest but mostly from people wanting no tenants, or vendor finance, or to pay a pittance etc. Only one response from homesales.com.au or...

Because there is no one, big, central website of private sales, or more people would do it themselves. All the final schenannigans is done by your solicitor/conveyancer anyway.
