Exactly right, Simon ... a classifieds section is not something we will be implementing lightly (if we do it) - will be carefully constructed to keep with the ideals of the site.
Yes, I am investigating this type of facility for the new forums - it won't just be an open forum for posting whatever though - there will be restrictions and rules.
