Why don't you post it here? There are a great many financially literate people on here - many that are much smarterer than myself! Keep it anonymous and stick to generalisations and you should be fine. Without knowing the nature of your issue it is difficult to sugest someone to help...

Not in the slightest. I think it unwise for a young person to take out expensive, non deductible finance for a new car. Especially considering the opportunity cost of getting a start in investing. I was brought up to believe that new cars were for older, successful people who earned them...
