true when i bought digital TV i had to rewire the antenna cause it simply wouldn't find any digital channels. turned out that antenna cable was consisting of 3 pieces which were hanging together by the virtue of small bits of electrical tape. was ok for analogue though

i can bet you that no person on this forum would be able to devise a plan that would have no one on this forum whinge about it :D

so you would only charge for the 100km to get there, but not the 100 to get back? and spend potentially 3 hours on the road plus at least an hour there for the sake of 150 bucks? fair enough. i would simply refuse such job and suggest they look elsewhere as this doesn't cover my time to get...

so how much would you charge to travel 100km one way to install a box and then give an hour lesson on how to use it?

i doubt that to supply and fit the TV would cost much less. plus, who would want to trade a 40" TV for a 22 just because it cannot play digital?
