I guess we may see the Product Disclosure Statment soon? I'm tipping it will be confusing :) hmmmmm....OK, will this be gauranteed against assets of the operators of Derivex? Ok I'm probably not going to post in this thread too much longer - just go back to lurking around. I would very...

    Derivex - interest free loans?

I am by no means an expert on finance and I'm sure Steve would know a lot more about it than me. (My background is in Engineering but I am currently doing a course at the securities institute). As I have stated before (in the .doc) the most the borrower can lose is 25000 conduit payment +...

    Derivex - interest free loans?

Reply to Derivex and Trevor Since my initial postings on the website it seems that Derivex have been kind enough to respond. For all who have had trouble understanding the concepts, I have detailed analysis of the Derivex's posts and my comments are all in red (as it is long I have posted it...

    Derivex - interest free loans?

Derivex won't have a term deposit. I'm suggesting Derivex to lend ME the money and I will put it in a term deposit INSTEAD of a property (its safer for them! win-win). They can have security over the term deposit in the case I should neglect to make a principle payment, they can take ownership...

    Derivex - interest free loans?

I understand that he wants to loan the money for my property purchase, but i'm offering him an even more secure asset to lend against! This is reducing his risk of defualt, and I'm even offering to pay him more than just the principle each month

    Derivex - interest free loans?

Ok, I read this forum a lot.... I have never posted, but this thread has forced me to. I'm 24, don't have a lot of experience, I don't own any property - I own a few shares. I am also doing a course at the securities institute and I know that finance can be tricky, but in this case it isn't...
