    $209k purchase +7k legals +$40-50k renovation depending on roof sell for $285-$290k, $24k profit..... its better then nothing, however, i wouldnt be comfortable making solittle on so much work and then relying on a hot market, which may or may not continue

    ive never shown much interest in hot markets too much before, however, low interest rates have been around for a while now, and nothing economically that I can recall is further boosting the growth, are the local investors and overseas investors simply following the herd and buying buying...

    really? i based mine on the fact a 4bdr renovated would probably fetch $290kish, but youd need to spend at least $50k fixing it up, plus more if you include copper, plus most people dont know how to do a reno and wont be able to tell teh difference between a inflated quote or a realistic quote...
