Good to know Aaron. This reminds me that many years ago I did a loan for a woman as trustee of a unit trust with her daughter owning all the units - The lender didn't ask for a guarantee from the daughter. I think in this case it was just because they didn't read the deed or my notes.

Many other advantages in using a unit trust too. But, unfortunately, personal guarantees will be required - from all unit holders.
