Just to clarify - for those who subscribe to this theory (very similar to "hot"/"cold" or yin/yan in TCM) it is "acid forming" foods and "alkalizing" foods. A lemon is very acidic, but is alkalizing to the body according to this theory. Cheers, The Y-man
