Can you hedge in some way so that you limit the risk of the $AUD devaluing? This might add a significant cost to the loan, however a 5% loan from the US, plus 1% for hedging is still cheaper than 8% in Aust... No idea if this can be done, any one actually do this on the forum? From memory...
