Having looked briefly at the agenda, the Officer's report doesn't even come close to outlining the process that you went through to address their concerns, did you or Aaron make a presentation to Council at all on it? And there are maybe 2 adjoining properties that could come up with a 'valid'...

Appeal? That is gut wrenching that you spent so much time going back and forth with the officers and DAC making sure all of their concerns and comments were addressed, to have Council knock it back! FWIW, appeals in the SAT are generally favourable if the planners recommended approval...

Sounds like the engineering department finally looked at the DA... Would've been nice if they looked at it in more detail earlier though! :mad:

Not sure that there's a great deal to share TBH. We went to DAC (actually the very first DAC meeting last year), they completely hated it but all of their comments were opinionated more than anything so we provided a written response to that effect and made some minor mods to the plans and...

I agree with the concept of a DAC, however the way Vincent has implemented it is completely wrong! It's at a point now where the DAC has too much power, given they are only meant to be an advisory body, and they are simply holding up development. The process should be like other Councils where...

What a joke! They can't stop you lodging the DA now though and at least give the planners a chance to do their assessment early and then they can refer it to the DAC internally. This is what we've done with a couple of DAs toward the end of last year.
