1987 Toyota Corolla twincam here. Cost $1000 to buy. 434,000kms and still going strong. I gotta vouch for the massive over-engineering of the Toyota 1MZ-FE engine. It's seriously a piece of engineering art, along with the 1UZ-FE. NOTHING beats Toyota for long term reliability and low service...
