Was thinking about a gas fireplace, flued for my new (old!) PPOR - as its been freezing in Newcastle of late! Do people think a wood heater is more or less efficient in delivering heat? What about cost to run cos wood seems pretty pricy. How much wood would (ha ha sorry that just sounds funny)...
