    I've been reading that some of the policy changes are to slow down investor purchases in Sydney. Does that mean that the banks will be more flexible on policy for purchases in other states? Or is that just wishful thinking?

    My properties are all positively geared but when the repayments are added to servicing calculators at P & I at a loaded rate some are "negatively geared". So a double whammy hit when NG no longer used in a calculator.

    I've just been hit by new policy. Early last week I ordered desktop Val's on two western Sydney properties to top up loans with AMP. Gave go ahead for broker to proceed with one top up and to order a full Val for the other. Neither applications were filed. This week we no longer service...

    Whether you own standard resi or NRAS makes no difference to having a reduced borrowing capacity to buy more properties.

    I instructed my broker today to do a couple of tops ups on my AMP loans. Will be interesting to see if we service now :(
