Obviously especially if you buy both but even single semis can be renovated, grow over time (mature) and i have seen some being subdivided to the back (retaining current block). Yes not many people would like to live in a hammerhead right now but...

Community title, retaining original house (rented for 260 so kinda waste to remove to build new for a few dollars extra rent). Will build two straight after subdivision. Might sell the other 2 as house and land package (cash up to do something similar) or keep it to build later (yield play).

Going well man. Subdivision is underway for one (1 to 5). Wife is expecting atm so I might take a break for a while :)

Interesting. I would definitely consider 90% lvr in this scenario but I wouldn't have less than $50k as my buffer especially if I know I have a big event coming up. Have you consulted your other half about this?
