I agree. The apartment we were living in previously was great in this regard. Never needed to put the heater on in the morning and only on for 2 hours or so in the evening and it was nice and toasty. Our now PPOR (house) is nicer but our first winter heating bill has been quite painful

I'm not sure why most of those high rises were even approved. There's nothing to suggest that level of demand in Canberra

That's a bit concerning. We purchased in mid last year in Belconnen but haven't noticed any drastic reductions in our immediate area
