The 60 day PPOR rule only applies if the clause was noted on the lease in the first place (I bet it wasn't). The 120 day "vacate for no specific reason" clause may be the only option.

My understanding is that CAV would be interested and could, at the very least, make life difficult for the REA. At best, you could benefit from some sort of compensation. Give it a go and let us know what happens.

I'd reckon that Consumer Affairs Victoria would be very interested.
