It takes apparently 55 min to Flinders St. on V Line train and 1.20min by Metro train. The train station in Pakenham looks shocking, I think it must me one of the worst station in Vic. A few untimely sorts hang around drunk in the streets during the day.

I am looking to buy some property in Pakenham (Lakeside area)and just found out about this problem. According to the story "sickening’ stench has been on the nose of residents for more than 20 years" !s it really that bad? I have been there a few times and haven't noticed it...
