It certainly is. That's what it costs me to give out kudos- one grand ;)

That's probably because you weren't even in the forum when that happened. I kept on getting this kudos from "MichaelWhyteWhoIsNotEvenInTheForumYet"

I'd much rather have less power. Because I know that I give a lot of points (though I didn't realise just how many) I will vaery rarely give kudos. I have once received three kudos ratings in one day from one person- and considering that between kudos points somebody has to also kudo a number...

In fact, Steve has quite a lot of extremely positive kudos comments- presumably for the deleted posts, as Ruby points out.

Dunno if there is. I know that what I give carries a lot more weight than from some others, so I'm more careful about it. I hope the Oxford English Dictionary has picked up on the user of "kude" as a verb.
