I don't know. Aldi sell their own pods but I don't know if they're cross compatible. I like a strong coffee so pods don't suit.

I you're going capsule I don't see much of an advantage of a Nespresso over a more basic Aldi or similar.

Coffee can be a very personal thing. The best thing to do is to taste before you buy, if possible. The person drinking the coffee is the only one who can really make that decision.
