    Does Brisbane still stack up?

I do think you are correct regarding population growth, it has slowed significantly over the last 4-5 years and will need to pick up for a genuine price spike to occur. Whether this can happen in the current economic environment remains to be seen. The substantial price difference between...

    Does Brisbane still stack up?

Anything from self interest groups obviously is not, the infrastructure projects were more the point but time will tell, can't see too much happening unless population growth picks up to levels previously achieved

    Does Brisbane still stack up?

Definitely price pressure upwards from Chinese buyers but those listings look too expensive relative to other stock available despite being 5 bedrooms IMO. The extension to Garden city is massive but I don't think this has much to do with the price increases nearby

    Does Brisbane still stack up?

Appears Sunnybank has had 9% growth in the last 12 months, mostly driven by Chinese purchasers. Rents seem fairly flat though, I'm looking to increase one of mine only slightly if at all.

    Does Brisbane still stack up?

Despite new estates creating building jobs I think new residential projects not going ahead leads to increased demand for existing stock and higher prices
