I would also be interested to know about his history. If he's generally a conservative guy I'd be willing to listen to him. If he's got a life long history of making outrageous (negative) predictions then he's not worth a second of my time.

I watched a documentary on anti-biotics the other day and it terrified me. We're using it haphazardly in crops, stock, soaps etc, that eventually we're going to be easily wiped out by super bugs. The black death x 1000. Scary stuff to consider. Forget war, this to me was a more terrifying prospect.
