Has anyone else noticed that in the media now, when they are reading out from a paper, if it says "i.e.' they actually say "i" "e" instead of "that is"? The same applies with "e.g." they never seem to say "for example". I always go beserk and start screaming at the tv. My kids think I have lost...

I find having had 3 teens for the last few years i now sometimes say "like" myself! aarrggh! because, it's like I just can't help it. and like because I talk to my kids all the time it like a bad habit like.:D....just shoot me

mine is when people say "haitch" instead of "aitch" aaaarrrgghh! If you can't even get the alphabet right what hope is there for society??:eek: note: most of my children's teachers have said it incorrectly.
