A big issue I had with the MISA is that the descriptions on the transactions in or out didn't contain any information - only "MISA Deposit" or "MISA Withdrawal" - which is a pain in the neck if you are trying to reconcile your bank account. As PT suggested, if I wanted to keep everyday...

That's clearly a rubbish response and suggests they don't know what they are talking about. I frequently find staff at CBA like that and my usual reaction is to hang up, ring back and hopefully get a different person who has some sort of idea what they are talking about. Regards, Jason

Lamp, You can choose which accounts to have linked to your card - so you wouldn't have to have the offset account linked if you didn't want to. Regards, Jason
