What I was asking is what happened --specifically changed for the tenants , from the time they agreed to rent a house without a/c to now? They knew when they agreed to rent it, it didn't have a/c. It's not like it was a surprise. Just another tenant wanting to change the terms of the lease...

Tenants always amaze me. They rent the place without an a/c. Unless it is a new rental, it has been rented for years previously without an a/c...what changed?

We are in Cedar Vale, Qld atm. I still find 40cel to be quite warm...when in Tennant ck, I do spend a lot of time in our a/c room, but those rooms are not insulated, and they want the windows and doors to be kept closed, to keep out the dust...so we keep it around 25cel. The owner bought...

We are about an hour outside of Brisbane, so I can only say what the thermometer said here. I'm sure it's like most places...temperatures flucuate, depending upon the area you are in.

It was 41cel this week (Brisbane area) We have never used a/c at a house sit. We close the windows/curtains during the daytime...open after it cools down to allow cross breeze. The most we have used are the ceiling fans. We are comfortable.
