    Enforcing a VCAT order

That is great to hear. Wish more landlords would do the same thing.

    Enforcing a VCAT order

Our lawyer hired a process server to serve a tenant we were suing in court. Cost us approx $200 and I have no idea how they found out where she lived...but they resources available to them, we didn't. That might be a route?

    Enforcing a VCAT order

We plan on seizing some vehicles as well. Our sheriff (Canada) told us it is a bit expensive, because we need to pay for storage and auction costs etc..but those charges are taken from the sale of the vehicle first, then we get our money..if there is anything left, the tenant gets it. Enforcing a VCAT order

    Enforcing a VCAT order

It isn't any better on the other side of the world either (canada) It is usually 3 steps of shuffling papers back and forth, before we get to the point where we can garnishee an ex-tenant. They should do it all at once, as all it does is waste abut a month of my time. Courts know what we want !!!

    Enforcing a VCAT order

We have a tenant paying us $10 a month, and owes $430 more. He started out paying more at a time (it was around $1000 when he started) and he continues to pay, so I won't ruin his credit score yet. Other tenants we have the orders ready, and only bother going to the Sheriff (Canada) when we...
