Dave, You're too kind ... ( I suffer from the same disease!) My understanding is you actually buy "the land and all improvements (?? :rolleyes:) there-on" ...so once you settle, unless it's specified in writing in the contract....it's ALL yours to do with as you please ..... cat-run and half...
