Its just been raised to 80 Mph after assessments of road surfaces and car technology (well that is if there are no road works or traffic jams) but as someone who learnt to drive in the UK, and drives there every year or so, I concur that the behavior and courtesy is SO much better there.

A bit like the guys in the outside lane doing the speed limit as if it is their job to police everyone else on the road by not moving over and letting them past. If they did that in Europe you would have a beemer up your ar*e lights on full beam until you moved.

Amen to that Keep left unless overtaking! And when I see driving school cars in the right lane when there is nothing to overtake - makes my blood boil
