i'm not quite sure what you classify as "central" bangkok, but our office is flooded, and it is in Bangkok. Its in the Ladprao/ Chatuchak area, and the main road there is under around at least half a metre of water.

I have a friend who's daughter was hit by a car in China, and the driver also tried to run over her again. There are 2 issues apparently which cause this behaviour. One is compensation... if a person is injured by a car, the compensation needing to be paid is much higher than if they die...

hasnt it already been discussed to death on another thread though...... i think we need another thread to discuss it as much as we need the actual tax!! ;)
