    DHCP on the router you "hacked" would give you an address, your MAC address maybe logged against that ip depending on the hardware/software, but it is not a ISP address it is internal to the home network like a non-routable 192.168.x.x range, therefore virtually impossible to trace.

    innocent until proven guilty. Network unsecured? Just drive round suburbia and try and connect to any old connection, many are open. WEP is easy to hack and WPA is brute force and a little more time consuming - a few more minutes.
