    I use a combo of cash and my amex when travelling, especially in Asia as amex is widely accepted. My issue with this travel card is you're likely paying aussie retail forex rates which have ludicrous margins, on say 10k you're throwing $500 in the bin.

    I wouldn't bother. Take a decent sum of hkd out of atm at airport and then exchange your aud at the local money changers there. Banks here are a ripoff and I don't see the point of travel cards
