FWIW ive flown MAS business before and it's pretty good. Not sure how consistent their planes are but i was happy with the one i got. Will you be stopping in KL for long? The business class lounge there is pretty good. The price is very good one too

i believe you might be able to use other airline lounges if youve got an amex platinum card, even if youre not flying with that airline. some other platinum cards might have that feature too

there is some excellent WA chocolate being made atm, dont limit yourself to the swiss stuff! try gabriels and bahen and co (both from margaret river) for bars etc and sue lewis and nakamura for really top notch truffles. sue lewis also does some ice creams, other chocolates and a chocolate...
