The Pitt street branch in front of Macbank. The turnaround was 3 days! I was impressed...these guys are young and very customer service oriented. The management team has change since I last dealt with them!

Back at ya....2015..indeed....I reckon that is the next major upturn in the property cycle begins. It will be lead by Perth in late 2014..followed by Sydney...Brisbane....with Adelaide and Melbourne the laggards. Great idea to fix at 5.59%....as for selling...is it wise to do it now?

Hmmmm.....sorry that is absolute BS....over the last 10 years...I have managed to fix at or near bottom. It then put me in a great CF+ position over the next 2-3 years whilst rates go up. This has worked well for me. Just remember 2-3 years are the sweet spot...anylonger or shorter...you...

I hastily fixed rates in April thinking they had peaked....and then managed unwind some as I fixed too early. However, could not get out of 3 fixed for 2years at 5.99 and 5.95%. So not too bad. If we are lucky we might see if 2 or 3 year rate at 5.59%!

For what its worth, I think we are a ways from bottoming out in the interest rate front! Feb. will be a particularly interesting month.....I can see quite a few redundancies just prior to Xmas.....and Europe is not improving. As I have said in other threads.....a cut will happen in Dec...

All.....we are at least 6 months from rates bottoming....don't fix yet. There will be a lot more color and movement in the next 6 months. I think a 5.59-5.89% 3 year rate is certainly a possilbility next year.
