I bought several around that time & all of them under $200k. To cut a long story short, this one was listed with an out of area agent, who just wanted a sale. He got it! :D

The one I just sold (Sydney West) more than doubled in 10. Bought 2004 for $180k, sold for $418100.:D I don't think the runs over yet, not by a while, but it feels good to cash one of them in.

To be completely honest, I haven't kept my eye on the pulse, although I do have to get over there & start looking around, as we've got a couple to shift. The ones I've been looking at are over St Clair/Erskine Park. There's a lot of people with a lot of money to throw around.

Based on what I'm seeing at Western Sydney opens, and the prices people are paying, I agree.

Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, but I think we've got a way to go yet. Standing room only at opens & offers in excess of ask price means there's a heap of people out there pushing the prices up, up, up.:D
