I WAS thinking a week earlier, but I'm hoping that Hubby will be out of work by later in the month.
It's a little tricky.....Wednesdays are good for daughter who has Tech on Thursday. Every other day she's in bed by 8.00pm as she leaves for work at 5.00am.
Hubby goes to Canberra on...
OK then, I've just posted a thread for the next meetup.

Wednesday, 20th May, Wenty Leagues 6.30pm.
Sorry for all those that want a different day, but as organiser, I call dibs on the day of the...
Tehe! We're all crazy in Sydney, in a good kind of way.;)
Lol! How can you not know we're related? I mean, you're crazy too! That should be the first clue. :p
I'm pretty sure she won't choose something with Skater in the name.
Hmm....OK! But, since I don't have kids at school anymore, I have no idea when the next lot is. :o I was thinking we could probably do it in around 6 weeks?
Ah, OK then, cool. I don't mind organising one of them.
A SIG, however, would take a lot more work. I was going to say that if you wanted one of them, I'd let you do it. ;)
Another meet up, or a SIG?
I didn't mind the venue, it was big enough to accommodate everyone, the food was good, and it was a good compromise for most people in terms of being able to get there.
If you are thinking of something like the SIG meetings, we'd need somewhere that would give us...
I'm not sure. I've been to some big ones, but can't recall where the market was at the time. I just thought it was because the venue was at a closer point to Parramatta, without the parking nightmare. Easy to get to for both those coming from the west as well as those from other areas.
It...
Lil Skater wasn't there.....but the other one was.
So, what's her new forum name? Mini Skater, Cute Skater? We need some suggestions. Maybe Lil Bargain Hunter?
It was an amazing night! That's the biggest meet-up I've ever been to. I would have loved to talk to everyone, but sheesh, it's hard when there's so many. At one stage I stood up & did a head count & there were 40 of us. :D
Thankyou everyone for turning up. We'll definitely have another.
I don't think we'll need a sign. There can't be too many large groups there, I would imagine. Even if you are early, you should see me hopefully with a few tables pushed together.
I'm planning on getting there early, so even if you are early as well, just look out for the crazy lady...
None of the meet-ups that I've been to, or organised, have had a 'finish' time, as such. People usually leave when they are ready, which often means that some leave early, while others stay a little later.
This coming Wednesday, 25th March, Wenty Leagues, 6.30pm, in the Bistro.
The OP was going to have something in the city, on a Friday, in April, but he hasn't been here to clarify, but Wednesday's meet-up is confirmed.
I have absolutely no idea. In fact, I've never been to Wenty Leagues before, but Hubby will probably have the same problem. Depending on what time he gets there will depend on if I can collect him. If there's others around at the same time, I don't mind collecting them as well.
