    Cleaning a Washing Machine

Oh, now that hurts.:o I don't like consumerism and have a hard time purchasing something new just because the next new thing comes in. That being said, we do have a plasma, but I haven't thrown the old TV out either. It can be handy to have a spare. With the washing machine, it cost over...

    Cleaning a Washing Machine

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. I like my old washing machine. It was top of the line when we bought it, and one of the reasons we bought it was because we knew it would last. We have never had to repair it, and would really like to get a few more years out of it. I...

    Cleaning a Washing Machine

Hmmm.........I have tried vinegar previously without great success. I might try it again with some bi-carb and see if that makes a difference. I'm sure that it is a build up of lint, but don't know if that will break it down enough to clear it from the machine entirely.

    Cleaning a Washing Machine

There doesn't appear to be any removeable parts. I was hoping there is a product, similar to one I've seen advertised for dishwashers.

    Cleaning a Washing Machine

I have an old washing machine. It still works well and I really don't want to replace it, however there are times that the clothes come out with "stuff" on them, like a layer of fluff. Does anyone know of a good product that can clean out the inner workings of a washing machine?
