You're not a skeptic, skeptics question and try to find answers. Deniers don't.

Because denying this Inconvenient Truth makes life simpler for them and worse for billions of people today and in the future. And that's disregarding the impact to flora and fauna. It's a little bit like right and left politics in general. People that vote right generally vote for what's good...

It might have been a slight exaggeration, but if they run out of water, what are they going to do? Building a desal plant or an interstate pipeline would take way longer than a year. So if you were renting and you were facing the prospect of living somewhere with an intermittent water supply...

Fine, I'll change it to "global warming caused by human emissions". That should be specific enough. While I suspect that there won't be a 'debate' in ten years time, if there is, this matter could then be resolved in court, just like the measles one was that I linked above.

No response? Come one, I'm 100% serious, I sign a statutory declaration that I will pay you $250,000 if climate change isn't real, you sign one saying that you'll pay me $250,000 if climate change is real and we'll reconvene in ten years' time.

Which is an increase of 33% in a century. Still not significant? You keep posting it as a belittling 0.04% concentration, as though something in a concentration like that couldn't possibly have a strong negative effect. Would you care for 0.04% of cyanide in your food? Come on, it's only...

Same with CO2 concentrations. It has actually been shown that they're higher than they have been for the past 800,000 years! And no, that's not a typo. Current atmospheric CO2 concentrations have now gone to 400ppm. I think the single most reason why people don't believe in climate...

Out of all the crappy political parties (and they all are), this is my favorite one. They've got some stupid policies, but I believe that trying to limit climate change is the most important issue for humanity in our generation. Future generations will look at climate change deniers like we do...
