Still fee free but they've stopped the ability to take out money from it without fee. I use to put more cash on the card and then use it as a debit card to withdraw the additional funds as cash at the atm. Now you can't do that anymore.

Much better rates in hk, even at the airport, than what the Australian banks give you. If just a short trip I'd would take cash and exchange it there. Also the 28 degrees MasterCard is very good. Decent exchange rate, no international transaction or yearly fee.
