Speed fine - anyone experienced it?

He's not going to contest it, he'll wake up to himself in a few more days as the time to take action looms closer. Though I'd love to see a video of it if he did front up in court. :D

Just mentioned your comment above to my fiancée and she knows what you mean. She said it's why he never wanted any of his kids or grandkids to join the force.

Very interesting Pushka, thanks. :) My mates going through Largs at the moment. From memory I think the ratio in his class is something like 5 out of the 25 are women. Lots of English bobbies still going through fast track training as well.

Jeez Analyst, you want to go to court without any reason or proof, simply based on the fact that he took too long to pull you over? Even with a valid argument it's a long shot. Especially when you're talking 30+k's over the limit - there are so many actual speeders out there, yet you think the...

Speed fine - anyone experienced it?

If that's your argument, then forget about trying to fight it in court. As Pushka said, they don't have to pull you over immediately, especially if it wasn't practicable or safe to do so at the time. For example I was driving on the left lane next to an unmarked police car. The car in front...
