Thanks for the super quick response and the info. However i was wondering if you had to get a BA20A signed by the neighbour giving you permission to remove the portion of the fence when you built the garage wall on the boundary?

As long as the end values track increases in cost that's fine. I believe in some areas this is not the case where end values have flattened or even dropped slightly.

I think what he was trying to convey is that you can only rely on end values right till you sign the building contract. Once this line is crossed it is very hard to turn back. and of course we know that we don't have control of end values till it is sold. The book is good in my opinion...
