Why it really is 'different here'

Token I completely agree with you. What shadow should have done is simply said something as random as what you just did and that would have carried so much more weight. Why it really is 'different here'

simple said and all correct. Sometimes people here look into everything with way too much detail and its refreshing to see a good post thats too the point. However regardless how correct you are shadow people will always hone in on a specific policy, data or some other micro issue and say...

Why it really is 'different here'

Someone was proposing credit had a 90% correlation in the short term to price increases. I was simply highlighting the extreme case of 0 credit and its repercussion under such a proposition. Why it really is 'different here'

Shadow, good luck trying to get that point across. Most people (mostly the Keen support group) are transfixed with the simplistic position of "if it happened there it could happen here". I tried to argue that such factors as supply are clearly different between the countries in question, but...

Why it really is 'different here'

low doc doesn't mean you have bad credit it only implies it hence the tag liar loan. Non-conforming means you have a known issue and don't conform to standard lending criteria... e.g. defaults on your CRA etc.

Why it really is 'different here'

thanks for posting that report... puts graphs and figures on the situation. I burst out laughing reading the first paragraph though, wont say why but its good to see some economists still believe demand & supply still applies.. I have a repository of such reports which includes a report...
