When I bought my PPOR there was a $21k grant for buying a new place and a $7k grant for buying an old place. All the new places we looked at were overpriced by way more than $14k. I would not buy OTP or H&L new housing just for the grant, why spend $50k more just to get a $10k grant or whatever...
