100% agreed. I can't remember the last time I heard a valid criticism about the property division laws that wasn't some ridiculous and bitter emotional rant. ...including somersoft unfortunately - and I would have thought the peeps on here would be more rational but apparently not.

Call it BS if you want, but the independent research supports it. There's a reason why the family law rules on property exist, and looking at the research, there's probably reason for it to swing further in favour of the non-financial contributor to the relationship.

Consent orders are probably fine (and cheaper) - not sure why you'd recommend the BFA?
