Perth property listings - under 9,000

Cool macroeconomic story, but I think the perth property market has a few more variables than just that.

I don't actually think the rental market is softening any more. The reports obviously have some delay, and I think its picked up again slightly on the ground. Plus supply is still historically low, even if it is increasing.

Depends where you are talking about.

Perth property listings - under 9,000

I'm locking in my prediction early - mini boom for Perth during this upcoming spring/summer season. I still think listing and sales figures, along with general buyer confidence means there's some steam left to go.

Perth property listings - under 9,000

Gosnells now? Shouldn't your decision on where to buy come down to some serious DD on where/what property has the best growth prospects?

It been a steady creep up from below 8,000. It hasn't been above 10k for some time.

I have to admit I'm starting to getting a slight twinge of nervousness about the listings creeping up. I'm still on the "slow steady growth" bandwagon for Perth but listings have been creeping up slowly from the low figures we had earlier it seems.

Agreed there. I think I can count on one hand the number of REAs that actually knew anything about the Rcodes or what would qualify for subdivision. Let alone how a proposed rezoning would crystallise into actual rezoning. Its actually scary how little some of them know considering they are...

Perth property listings - under 9,000

So you just said yourself that the number of listings is 50% of the equation - so why then go on like its a "meaningless statistic"? If you want to buy in Perth, thats fine - my recommendation is to actually listen to some of the locals in this thread, who have the benefit of being on the...

Perth property listings - under 9,000

Some more anecdotal evidence, but every home open/auction I've been to on the weekends have quite a lot of interested/serious buyers. Not quite lining up to go in, but lets just say it gets pretty crowded in there, and the agents often run out of brochures. Looks like some steady and strong...

Perth property listings - under 9,000

I think there's still some good opportunities out Mandurah way. I just settled on a property in Pinjarra. Otherwise my personal guess would be that Perth still has some growth to come and its worth jumping on any good deals you see.
