Purchasing in VIC - Frankston Area #2

Where is the Frankston Market at now? Where is the Frankston Market at now in Nov 2011? I am just wondering what all your thoughts are on the Frankston market. I am having trouble reading where the market is at. I tried to sell a 2 bed unit and decided to remove it from the market. My...

I had an interesting discussion with a policeman who works in Frankston. They know all the streets by heart in North Frankston and Frankston. When they receive a call to South Frankston, they need to refer to the Melways. Sort of sums it up for me.

Try the Adding Value thread. I dont really think this is a location specific question. Costs would be very similar regardless of location.

Your right. All I am trying to say is that Nth Frankston is a little worse than those other areas. I have had some trouble tenants in my Sth Frankston properties. But I choose Sth Frankston over those other areas.

I think there is alot of debate from those who have lived in the area and those that have not. I grew up and went to the Schools in Mentone. While I was at Uni my parents decided to move to Frankston. (Dad was a builder in Frankston and decided to live in his current project). I nearly hit...

It was good to see the new by-laws in Frankston that allowed the Police to confiscate the motor bike of a 5 year old. No sympathy from me for the family who had their motor bike impounded. Sounds like they were warned and you should not have these bikes on public land. You got my vote.

I dont agree with Ms Jade I did a review of the two properties i own in South Frankston. Both 2 bed units, One is in Nolan St, the other in George St. Both walking distance to the proposed harbour. Both bought in 1999 for $95k. Now worth between $270k to $300k. No work done, not even a...

Many people would already say Frankston has its share of these people ......hanging around the area smoking weed and driving hotted up cars. Though they may not be surfies - more likely on Rudds Welfare payroll. Frankston does have a higher than average number of residents on benefits...

All I am trying to say is that Frankston is not Manly. I dont agree with all these outsiders saying that the Frankston median should be higher than it is and its the agents fault for this. The Frankston median is determined by the market. Some 10 years ago Frankston was in the lowest...

Do some more Melbourne research. Yachtiefrankston Your beef with Frankston agents is, in my view, not warranted. I have always lived in the bayside surburbs of Melbourne. I grew up in the mentone area, now live in Aspendale and my parents, brother and sister live in different parts of...

I am sure thats the same everywhere. All the agent is doing is trying to set a price so he can exceed your expectations or make an easier sale. This is why its important to know the price. Agents are only salesmen. Dont know about you, but i dont hold alot of respect for them.

Agent Bashing in Frankston I am tiring of the agent bashing in Frankston. I am not an agent. I do somewhat believe in Jenman and his no advertising no auctions stance on selling. Frankston has many agents. There must be close to 15-20 agencies. So amongst those there must be some goods...
