Was the buyer a buyers agent for an out of towner? Thats a pretty poor looking area of Frankston and was inhabited by many druggies, as there are many ugly looking units with 5 on a block type units in that area. Maybe that part of town is slowly changing. Sure was a good price for the vendor.

I was reading today that Mal Walden (channel 10 Newreader) grew up in Frankston. So too did Peter Mitchell (channel 7 Newsreader). So 2/3 of the main newsreaders on commercial TV grew up in Frankston. Not bad for a suburb that has a Bogan reputation.

Seaford only has two things going for it versus Frankston; 1. Closer to Melb CBD. 2. St Kilda are building their training facility there. Otherwise its not much different than Carrum Downs or Frankston North.
