This annoys me, the use of GDP as a measure of almost anything . What percentage of GDP was services in 1929? I have no idea, but I bet it was nothing like 70% as it is today. I would guess it may have been lucky to have been 25%. Agriculture was probably 20% [3% today]. 80 years ago...
