    I agree but this is not giving children money to buy a car. The lesson to be learned her is that instead of getting useless toys, that they don't want after a few months, every birthday, they get money to be invested. Later they see the benefit of this, when they have money to buy something...

    Well number 2 and 3 won't be more than a few years away. But I know nothing is certain but I don't want to send myself to the poorhouse trying to do the same for the next ones. I guess slow and steady is the way to go.

    Thanks everyone. I have given money which goes into their bank account which is OK but not my ideal. Going from my own kids experience it didn't mean much to them. I, of course, will still give them a present. Really they get just as much fun out of the fancy crayons, paper, feathers etc...
