Old cars and damaged cars have rust promoted in them whenever any water is added. Be it washing, rain, humidity, moist seaside air, etc. I'm guessing that FJ never felt the rain and was very carefully sponge bathed.

I think kids, even adults, can try to impress others by speaking in a complex manner. I wouldn't be surprised if she's doing it on purpose, almost as if by reflex, to appear as intelligent as possible whenever she opens her mouth. "I'm not unhappy if I don't not have anything to not complain...
